Spring is here, Its opening day of Baseball and the days of staying indoors on cold winter days wishing for all summer of those festivities to arrive are now soon to be over and H&M is here to help you improve your wardrobe. We have all been waiting for this time of the year, a chance to showcase your wardrobe and create a better appearance for yourself. With the summer collection of clothing set to release on May 1st, it has created a huge buzz around the world because of their recent partnership with global super star Beyonce. Beyonce will showcase H&M summer women apparel during her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour set to kick off on April 15th with print ads and television ads. H&M will create a wardrobe for you that is comfortable, relaxed, and very stylish all for an affordable price. The fast-fashion retailer is capturing Summer’s hottest trends for women from animal prints to hippie chic knits and crochet. The latter plays on open-knit sweaters, Native American-inspired sweatshirts, and tunics that the leg-baring set will wear alone as dresses or layer over cutoffs. featuring a mix of colors, textures and prints. For menswear, the suit continues as a key item with new cuts and colors, there are also blazers, boxy T-shirts, tailored slacks, all-over printed suit, baseball jacket, uniform jacket, printed ethnic or floral shirt, shorts. Colors are in green, blue and off-white in fabrics like linen and linen blends, cotton and marled yarns. I would recommend that everyone should check out the H&M Summer collection especially if you're still getting ready for the summer of 2013 as it is in high demand.

Spring is just around the corner, and H&M is well on their way on bring out a brand new collection of spring apparel. The launch date is set for April 4th, 2013 with the collection going worldwide. Along these new collection will come new attire and accessories for men and women, such as bracelets, sunglasses and belts which all be made from organic and recycled material in order to comply with our environmentally customers. The price range for the new attire will start from $19.95 and will go up to as much as $399.00. H&m in the past has shown that they are fully up to date with fashion as well following and implementing all the trendy news the circulates in the fashion industry. They are an organization that commits to their consumer target market by bringing out new fashionable items and accessories every season. With their new spring collection, they hope to attract their current consumer target market through reasonable priced products and products that can improve ones wardrobe.  By having their products priced reasonably, the consumer will know that H&M and H&M Canada are a good retail store to buy items for low prices but look like they are priced for more

H&M Canada Vs Forever 21 Canada

Similarities between H&M Canada and Forever 21 Canada:

·         Both showcase trendy fashion

·         Their updated with today’s current fashion trends

·         Use color as basis for majority of their female and male looks as well as their clothes

·         Connect with the younger individuals and older individuals with their fashion sense and looks

·         Showcase fun, trendy, business, casual looks

·         Both are using social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter as a marketing tool to connect with the online community

·         Always update the consumers online with current promotions, coupons, contests, and sweepstakes on their social media platforms  as well as their website

·         Both do fashion shows for their fall, summer, winter, and spring looks

·         Both are advertised on billboards, television commercials, and newspapers

·         Use celebrities such as David Beckham to promote their brand

Differences between H&M Canada and Forever 21 Canada:

·         H&M Canada does not let Canadian online consumers to shop online

·         Forever 21 Canada allows Canadian online consumers to shop online

·         Both use different marketing tactics

·         Their websites are set up differently

·         They both go on sale with their clothing during different time periods

·         Different mission statements

·         Sponsorships and advertisements to the consumers are different

·         Target different market segments 

When to Shop at H&M Canada Stores

When it comes to shopping for new clothes or new wardrobe, we are always taking our time or just rushing to find something that fits. We need to take our time when we are shopping because that way, we do not have to rush and will have the chance to try out all the clothes that we want. Also to see which clothes we would want to buy out of all the options we had selected. The best time to shop at H&M Canada stores or any retail stores in your nearest mall are the following:

·         Early in the morning when the mall opens

·         Shopping alone and not with friends, since friends are a distraction

·         During sale season which is every season of the year

·         Every four weeks to 6 weeks due to that’s when H&M Canada stores go on sale with their products

·         When a season has ended that way you can get past season’s clothing for a low price

·         Shop during Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays due to there will be less customer traffic flow in H&M Canada stores

·         Early in the afternoon around 1 or 2 pm

·         Late in the evening around 7 or 8 pm

·         30 minutes before any H&M Canada stores closes

H&M Men's Fall 2012 Look Book

After watching this video, you can come to realize by shopping at H&M or at H&M Canada, you will be able to improve your wardrobe with color. As well as simple combinations that can make you look elegant and sophisticated. A combination that showcased elegance was the model wearing a red pea coat, a yellow sweater, a white dress shirt, and purple pants with dress shoes. Another combination that show cased being sophisticated was the model wearing a green two button blazer with a green dress shirt underneath, then wearing gray pants with dress shoes. You can also come to realize that the organization and its other locations such as H&M Canada are focusing their men’s wardrobe around color, a business casual look, and a casual look as well. They are trying to convey the message to today’s men that you do not need to spend a lot of money to look good at all times. However, it is important to improve your wardrobe with color for the following reasons:

·         It makes you stand out

·         It shows that you care about yourself looking good

·         It shows that your updated with today’s latest fashion

·         Displays you able to dress yourself well
